This was what we thought was our last weekend as 'The Guys' cause we thought frank (In red) was moving out of the states. I (In green) was moving to FL for a few months. Cody (In blue) is engaged and JJ (In brown) is moving to Argentina. so while hanging out we turned our weekend into a one last fun photo shoot on a very freezing January day. It was a very emotional day for us but now its something we plan on doing more this summer with the trick shots. do more of the fake falling and climbing photos. I wasn't hired to do the wedding but I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding shower! It was lots of fun, and lots of great people made it the event it was. congratulations you two!

Booms day is a big day in knoxville on labor day weekend. Its One of the countries biggest firework show and its done over the river on Gay st. This is what a few friends and I did over our labor day weekend. hope you like the pictures and there are more on facebook. check it out by clicking the link at the top of the page!

This is an over look in knoxville right out side of downtown, that my friends and i enjoy a lot. we visit it quite often, and like to take new friends up when we can. this was me and Beka's adventure one night after hanging out with friends cause we weren't ready to call it a night! This was a fun shoot with Andrea Ballentyne in a retro, downtown apartment. What began as hanging out with friends became a photo shoot for the ages. But in all seriousness, the reason this shoot progressed is because the color contrast and subject blended so well. So it became our "fun shoot with Andrea." Painting with light shoot will be an option you can add to your photo shoot. These pictures were taken down town with some friends while ryan was panting around the subject to give the color effect you see here. we didn't have a tripod so these are a little blurry but you can get an idea of what it looks like. This is a 50th anniversary i ha the privilege to shoot. the couple have been married 50 years now with 3 kids and lots of friends and family to surround them. to see more of this shoot go to the link at the top of the page! Check it out today!

This is here to show what an actual photo shoot would look like if you wanted to get your portraits done by Red Umbrella. Some of these were done while wondering around Downtown Asheville. A few are from Downtown Waynesville at a 'Block Party." Most of them were in a field with over grown grass. I felt silly out there alone dressed up taking pictures of myself but it was to give a better idea of what a buyers portraits might look like. to get most of these shots i used a 10 second timer. Most of my photography is taken with a Sony 17 mega pix. and for weddings or higher paying jobs i use a Cannon 5D which you see here in the portraits of me in the field. I edit all my work in light room some i just fix up a bit while others i play around with to give it that vintage look that you see in some of these. This was my first Band photo shoot. some of these were taken as they practiced, and some at the even they practiced for. Every yeah a group of home school kids from all over have a dane recital that they work at on mondays. Tho i was focusing more on videography at the show i found time to take some shots as well. This was taken while at the beach, Gabreilla showing her serious/relaxed side while chilling at the beach playing her guitar. While not graduated just yet, these portraits were taken more for fun. And we hope to finish the photo shoot with an actual graduation.

This was taken for a going away party. I set up a section by the front door and as people walked in they took a moment to add there personality to a photo. The person going away will appreciate seeing his/her friends serious and/or funny sides. This makes a great gift for someone going away to remember the good times
